ke BellBivDaho : The issue with 3D-printed toys is threefold for me. first is how rigid they would be, silicone toys are nice and soft, they flex and move, and 3D-printed toys will not do that. Second, the smoothing/sealing process to make a toy body safe would take a lot of time and effort. Finally, you can mold a 3D-printed toy to recreate it in silicone, but then you are suddenly a silicone mold maker, and all the stuff needed to do that would not be cost-effective for me.
